We have loved being able to explore explore explore Washington! Last Friday, we made way for a place called Snoqualmie Falls. Big beautiful waterfall and autumn colors everywhere, very different than what I (Shilo) am used to since growing up in Arizona. Overall, a very relaxing day. However, we were bummed that Daisy wasn't allowed to come with us (NO DOGS ALLOWED) so...we ended up taking her to a dog park in Bellevue. Of course she loved it, such a friendly pup she is. We tried to take pictures of her there but they came out too blurry :/.
MINISTRY UPDATE: On another note, life seems to be picking up at the church. Today after the services and lunch we went out and bought a calendar for the house so we don't forget anything (yikes). Glen is continuing to learn the ins and outs of working with the various age groups and is trying to prepare for an upcoming Christmas children's musical. And I am getting geared up to start a young mom's bible study at the church every other week. Then on November 8th, I'll be speaking at the Fall Women's event which I'm getting excited about.
MOMMY UPDATE: Then there is Micah Man...the mild-mannered, easy-going and sweet boy. Is this only temporary? :)
He is beginning to talk more and more, doing the whole razzing thing with his lips and is full of interesting expressions. Somedays I still can't believe that I am a mom, what a precious calling it is. I am awed with God's goodness, although I wish I could say that I feel that way everyday. Sometimes I can see my sin come out, like my lack of patience for one. Thanks be to God that He doesn't leave me alone and is carrying me all the way as I care and love our little one. Well, that's all for now, hope you enjoy the latest pics!

OHHH! We are so jealous! We have talked about this being one of the first places we visit with the kids when we return home. You need to try Snoqualimie Falls Pancake mix. You can get it at the regular grocery store. This is the 1 thing that our family brings us down from WA, our kids have tasted nothing else as far as pancakes go. :) Have you found KCMS 105.3 on the radio yet??
Wow-- Snoqualmie Falls looks BEAUTIFUL! :) That's so wonderful that you got to visit such a beautiful place. The pic you took with the waterfall is absolutely gorgeous! :)
Shilo... from Mommy to Mommy: I'm sure your little guy will always stay mild-mannered and sweet, but like all kiddies, he will have his "moments", but-- don't WE all??? ;) As for being a Mommy & the stresses, etc. that come along with it, you are not alone! Daily Moms like us have our patience tested, etc., but at the end of the day, all is quiet & peaceful, our babies are safe & filled with love, and another day of the best job in life (being a Mom) begins! :) We are VERY lucky...
